Dr. T. G. VijayaDr. T. G. Vijaya

Research Interests : Organisational Behaviour

Dr.T.G.Vijaya is a Masters in Organizational Behaviour and a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Madras University. She has over 15 years of experience as a teacher, trainer and consultant. She currently works as a Professor at PSG College of Technology. Apart from being associated with large business houses in the area of Human Resource Consulting she is also actively associated with schools as a career consultant. Her expertise lies in assessment of candidates for the purpose of selection and development and implementation of performance appraisal systems for organizations.She has coordinated and served as a facilitator for various management development programmes across functions and levels and currently heads the Centre for Training and Development at PSG IM. A recipient of the young teacher career award for the year 2004 .Dr.T.G.Vijaya has served as a guest faculty to universities in USA and Australia and has presented papers at various international conferences.

Dr. R. KrishnaveniDr. R. Krishnaveni
Designation : Professor
Qualification : Ph.D., MBA
Research Interests : Human Resource Management and Development

R.Krishnaveni (b. 1962) is presently Professor in PSGIM, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. She has twenty five years of teaching and research experience. Her publication includes 4 books, 60 research articles in international and national journals. Her articles are found in “International Journal of Training and Development”, “Management Research News” and “Vikalpa”. Her popular book includes “Human Resource Development – a Researcher’s Perspective” (2008). She has been instrumental in organizing National level conference as well as workshops annually in the area of Business Research. Nine students under her guidance have successfully completed their doctoral degree. She is the executive editor of the journal “Journal of contemporary research in management”. During 2009 she has received “Best management Faculty award” from Coimbatore Management Association and “Outstanding woman Researcher award” from AIMS International. Mr. R. JagajeevanMr. R. Jagajeevan

Interests : Human Resource Management and Marketing.

Mr. R. Jagajeevan, Asst. Professor at PSG College of Technology, has done his MBA and M.Phil from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has been guide for 15 P.G. students for their Projects. He has 7 years of Teaching Experience, 1 year Industry experience and 2 years Research experience. He has attended FDP training at IIM(K). Has published paper in international journal and presented paper at ' National Conferences'. Also has won the ' Best Paper Award ' at a national conference. Has handled more than 100 seminars for various academic institutions, Police department, Coimbatore; Tamilnadu Water Supply and Drainage board and few corporates.

Dr. Manju P. GeorgeDr. Manju P. George
Designation: Asst. Professor (Senior Grade)
Qualification: MBA., PhD
Professional Interest: Human Resources Management with special interest in Training and Development / Mentoring

Dr. Manju P. George is a graduate in management from Bharathiyar University and was awarded Doctoral degree from Cochin University of science and Technology for her thesis, “Moving from Margin to Mainstream: A study on the effectiveness of formal and teacher initiated student mentoring in B-schools in Kerala”. She has 7 years of teaching experience and two years of corporate experience. She has participated in the 31st Faculty development Programme in Management (June 15th to Oct3, 2009) at Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad and has also taken part in several National and International workshops organised by Indian Institute of management Kozhikode. In addition she has successfully completed ‘training the trainer’ workshop conducted by ACTS- India, Mumbai.

Mr. N. RamkumarDr. N. Ramkumar

Interests : Human Resource Development and Organizational Behavior

Dr. N. Ramkumar is presently working as a Asst. Professor in Human Resource area at PSG Institute of Management. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Business Management (B.B.M) and Masters Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi affiliated to Bharathiar University and his PhD from Anna University, Chennai. He had obtained several proficiency awards and certificates for his consistent academic achievements. He is the recipient of "Dr. GRD Endowment Award" for the best out going MBA student, awarded the "Outstanding Alumini 2010"of the College and was the ‘University Rank Holder’ in M.B.A. programme.

Before joining the institute, he was a full time research scholar at PSG Institute of Management, registered his PhD programme with Anna University, Chennai. During the tenure, he actively participated and presented research papers in various international research conferences held at IIT-K, IIM-A, MDI, GITAM University, etc. and national conferences held at PSG IM. He had also participated in various research workshops and seminars. To his credit, he has made many publications in international and national refereed journals/ conference proceedings. He is instrumental in organizing research based workshops, FDP's and seminars. He conducts training sessions on various HR related topics for private and public sector and has a passion towards conducting various outbound training activities.

Mr. Ajith Sankar R N Mr. Ajith Sankar R N
Designation : Asst. Professor
Qualification : MBA (Environmental Mgmt. HR), Completed 3 levels of Chartered Market Technician Programme, BA (Psychology), (Ph.D.)
Interests : Indian Ethos and Values.

Ajith's interest areas include Indian Ethos and Values, and its application in the field of Human Resources, Environment and Social Responsibility.

During his four year industry tenure in the verticals of Retailing, Media and Business and Equity Research, he was associated with two start-up companies. In addition, he was part of an academic research team for one and a half years and published more than a dozen management cases and a number of case lets. Two of his cases were selected to leading international management text books. He has completed all the three exam levels of the "Chartered Market Technician" programme offered by Market Technicians Association, NY, USA. His Masters study in Business Administration, from University of Hyderabad, was focused on Environmental Management and Human Resources Management. Ajith also holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Annamalai University and a three year full time diploma in Hotel Management from IHMCTAN, Mumbai.

Mr. K P NaachimuthuMr. KP Naachimuthu
Designation : Asst. Professor
Qualification : M.Sc (App. Psy)., PGDPMIR., PGDCA., M.Phil.,
Interests : Organizational Behavior, Indian Psychology, and Neuro-psychology

Mr. KP Naachimuthu is qualified with a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and M.Phil in Psychology. He is professionally trained in Psychological Counselling at Christian Counselling Centre (CCC), Vellore, TamilNadu. He is trained in premier institutions like Indian School of Business (ISB), IIM Kozhikode, IIT Kharagpur etc. He was previously associated with Centre for Organization Development (COD), Hyderabad as a Research Fellow; was a Lecturer in Sona College of Technology, Salem, TamilNadu; as a Researcher, Centre for Leadership, Innovation and Change, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

He has over 30 publications (articles, research papers and book reviews) to his credit in reputed National and International Journals, Magazines, Newsletters, Newspapers and conference proceedings. He has authored and co-authored 4 books. He has constructed, standardized and published two psychological tests. He has also presented around 25 papers and case studies in National and International conferences / seminars / workshop. He has been a resource person for Management Development Programmes, and also for Personal Effectiveness programmes for students of several colleges. He has been the resource person for handling sessions on ‘Premarital Counseling’, organized by Central Government’s Social Welfare Board, New Delhi & YWCA. He has also been a Resource person for the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) training organized by Community Polytechnic (Thiagarajar Polytechnic College). He also has organized and coordinated national level seminar & conference. He was a core team member in a State level project (submitted to Government of TamilNadu) sponsored by The Southern India Mills Association (SIMA). His study on feasibility of air service at Salem airport (in 2006) played a key role in the Salem airport becoming operational again after 16 years.

He has been bestowed with a Gold Medal from Institute of Education, Research and Development (Kolkata) for his research initiatives in Management discipline; Dr. Ram Gopal Soni award of Best author from Indian Psychometric and Educational Research Association (Patna) He is associated with several national and international professional bodies in management and psychology. He was a founding editorial member of the nationally refereed journals that are listed in Ulrich International Directory and EBSCO database: Global Management Review and Sona Journal of Marketing Research. He was the editor for Sona e-Mag (electronic magazine). He has a fascination in reading and listening to Indian mythologies.
