Biomedical Engineering Department, PSGCT
The Biomedical Engineering department was established in the year 2006 with the following objectives:

• To provide adequate training to the students in the area of biomedical equipment, enabling them to develop low cost patient centric electronic devices both for diagnosis and therapy.
• To offer short term courses on specific topics of interest in the areas of Biomedical Engineering to Engineers and Doctors.
• To establish close links with Biomedical Industries and Hospitals through joint and consultancy projects to understand their requirements.
• To pay adequate attention to the Indian conditions, needs and resources of Urban and Rural areas while training the students.
