Commodore M. K. MurthyCommodore M. K. Murthy

After graduating from the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla (Pune), Commodore M K Murthy obtained a Mechanical Marine Engineering Degree from the Naval College of Engineering, Lonavla (Pune). During his 30 years Naval Service he secured a Post Graduation in Defence Studies from Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (Tamilnadu) and later an MSc from National Defence College, New Delhi.With work experience of over 40 years, including 6 years of teaching at UG & PG levels, 30 years of Naval Service in various capacities and 9 years industry experience at the level of Director & Chairman and Managing Director of India's largest ship building and ship repair yard at Cochin, Commodore Murthy is presently involved with studies in International Business and Trade logistics, Performance Management and related areas. He is actively involved with national and international committees / societies / organisations / institutions in the field of ship building, ship repair, oil exploration industry, management, marine engineering and marine environment. Presently, he is also Director on the boards of two Public Sector undertakings viz Mazagon Dock ltd, Mumbai Ministry of Defense Production and Hindustan Shipyard ltd ,Visakhapatnam Ministry of surface Transport, Roads & Highways.

Interests : International Business, Partner Alliances, Marketing, Business Negotiations, Strategy plans, Operations, Business Processes & industry interactions

He is ex-Senior Management Executive, L&T, Mumbai with around 28 years of industrial experience in multi-disciplines of Design, Marketing, Systems, Strategic planning & alliances, Standards committees, Taskforces…all related to switchgear, control electronics, automation, new projects , globalisation etc. and has been a recipient of good industrial design awards on behalf of L&T. Earlier, he has taught as Asst. Professor of engineering, at VJTI, Mumbai and has served as faculty in Summer Schools, as member of the Board of Studies, as member of recruitment panels and in industry-academic interactions at the University of Mumbai. He has widely traveled including countries like UK, Germany, Japan and USA. He has served on various interactions and negotiations with the officials & delegates of Japanese, American & European multi- national companies on JV agreements, technology transfers, marketing alliances & other partner relationships. He has written articles in professional journals and in-house magazines. He is currently associated with PSG IM as Visiting Professor of Management on programs for MBA and PGDM. His subjects include International Business, Industrial Marketing, Project management, TQM, Operations management, Business Negotiations…etc…He is also associated with the institute's management development programs and the initiatives of the Center of Technology Management (CTM) at PSG IM, as member of its Governing Council.

Dr. Krishnaveni MuthiahDr. Krishnaveni Muthiah

Research Interests : Logistics Management & International Business

Dr. Krishnaveni Muthiah is currently working as Assistant Professor at PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore. Formerly she has worked as, Assistant Professor,in the Dept. of Management Studies at Karpagam Arts and Science College and prior to that as, the Head of the Department of International Business at Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Along with the various academic degrees(M.Com., M.Phil., PGDHRM., MBA., PGDIB., Ph.D) she has to her credit, she has also participated and presented papers at various seminars and conferences. She has undergone Trainers Training Course on "Training Management-Methods and Planning", conducted by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). In the past 19 years, she has served in various capacities in different fields, in organising training courses and in implementing action based projects for national and international agencies. Her teaching experience includes handling subjects for B.Com., BBM., MBA., MIB., and MPIB., courses. She has guided various research projects in the field of management and foreign trade. Her areas of special interest are 'Logistics Management' and 'International Business'. Her books on (i) "Logistics Management and World Sea-borne Trade", and (ii) "International Relations" are read with avid interest by students of International Business and have generally been greatly appreciated. She, in her capacity as member of the Board of Studies (PG-Commerce) at Bharathiar University has been instrumental in upgrading the course content of the Master of International Business Course on a need based basis.

Mr. Anand SubramanianMr. Anand Subramanian

Interests : Global Business Environment, Human Resource Management,
Intellectual Property

Mr. Anand Subramanian has completed his Master of Business Administration from
RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He is a law graduate from University of Madras and has 6 years of valuable experience in the legal domain at Madras High Court. He has also worked in the area of Intellectual Property for a US based firm Legal Force Inc. and held positions as a consultant. He has got special interest for International Business and Human Resource Management
