Biography

Dr. Nalini is associated with PSG IM as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade). She is a passionate educator. She holds her MBA degree with University Rank and her doctoral research from Anna University Chennai, she has done her FDPM from IIM-Indore and continues as a registered alumnus of the institution. With her rich experience in curriculum design and delivery, she has contributed to developing industry-based curriculum in different Management Programs. She acts as a Board of studies member in a few colleges. To her academic credit, she has given expert talks in several forums and shared her expertise in the field of Research, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Have conducted many workshops & training for colleges and corporate clients to name a few BPCL,ITC, Aries Agro ltd, ABT, India post, and open programs for startups and entrepreneurs.Her research contributions include research articles publications in management journals, both at the National and International levels, and book chapters. She has presented her research contributions and case studies in reputed forums like IIMs, IITs, IISc, BITS Pilani, Nirma University, AIMA, ICBM, and in many State and Central Universities. With her diverse research knowledge, she has grabbed two major funded projects from ICSSR – A central Govt funding body- New Delhi. She is a recognized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai.In her tenure with CIMAT she was heading as chief project leader in Entrepreneurship Development Cell. Her primary tasks include submission of funding proposals for various entrepreneurship Training programs, training the young aspirants, and promoting the entrepreneurial culture in student minds. She managed and executed the funds from DST via EDII Ahmedabad, through planning and organizing 50 Entrepreneurship programs of three days each across 40 colleges in and around Tamil Nadu.With her ability in planning and implementing various industry-based real-time assignments, she spearheaded consulting assignments in companies like ITC, Roots Industries, and SAFS.She is a known administrator and able to independently plan and execute projects in academics and industry. Apart from teaching and research, she involves in various Accreditation and academic process improvements and implementations. She spearheaded the National accreditation (NBA) and Internal Academic Quality Assurance in KCT Business school. As a program coordinator, she anchored two PG programs in MBA – Innovation Entrepreneurship & Venture Development and M.Tech – Technology Management in partnership with Forge prior to joining PSG College of Technology.

  • Received ICSSR Major Research Project grant of INR 5,50,000 Lakhs for the project titled Investigation on Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) Of Low Performing Khadi Institutions and Development of Growth Strategies for their Business Advancement (Project   – ongoing)
  • The Research major project entitled an Empirical investigation of problems and prospects of textile merchants to invest in Texvalley (special textile zone) for their business growth and development was awarded INR 5,50,000 as Major Project by ICSSR, New Delhi. (Project completed)
  • The project entitled Automatic sanitary napkin providers has been selected in KCT Management funded research project for the academic year 2016-2017 with the financial support of INR 114000.
  • Being chief project leader applied and utilized a total of Rs.6,07,500 for 3 years for 45 EACs from EDII, Ahmedabad, Gujrat. (Project completed)

  • The Case titled “Business and Environment Interface – A Case Study on Erode Textile Mall Pvt Ltd (Texvalley -Integrated Textile Mall) Incompatible Views of Stakeholders and Environment Analysis”- was selected among the top 5 cases for “Award of Excellence” in 2nd AIMA-ICRC Case Writing Competition & Conference, held on 24 march 2022- 27 March 2022.

  • A consulting assignment for SAFS Organic was done to enhance the digital marketing tools for company growth.
