Management Development Centre :-
The Management Development Centre of PSGIM was established with the mission of becoming a centre of excellence in management education, research, and consulting. Its objective is to produce highly motivated and professionally competent managers with a positive attitude, high standards, commitment, and dedication to meet the expanding demands of professional management at home country and abroad.
In the constantly shifting corporate world, managers must possess an adaptable mindset and innovative strategies. Modern business managers battle daily with the need to deliver results and scale up quickly. In this competitive economic business environment, executives can grow and flourish in the firm with the use of traditional company management abilities and current management tactics.
Our faculty works directly with business executives to create programmes that cater to the specific needs and difficulties of each organisation. These programmes may concentrate on bringing about strategic change that benefits the business, improving specific management skills, or building organisational capabilities to meet the shifting demands of the industry. Regardless of whether your organisation is attempting to reach higher levels of efficiency, adapt to shifting markets, new competitors, or other strategic challenges, we can work with businesses to develop a tailored programme that strengthens executive leadership capacity and propels organisational performance. PSGIM has identified these significant gaps in the breadth of training and development in its pipeline of programmes. Therefore, management development programmes are designed to assist managers in becoming more effective in their current roles as well as to prepare them for greater responsibility and career promotion.
Vision
Serving clients who have high aspirations and bringing global knowledge to local marketplaces to expand reach.
Mission
- To be recognised as the top supplier of knowledge transfer services for the benefit of the world community.
- Delivering management knowledge in fields where the interaction of people, business systems, and technology results in long-term transformation for both individuals and society.
Pedagogy
The diversified teaching pedagogy includes case studies, simulations, role plays, closed group analyses, applied learning projects, theoretical and practical lecture sessions. Participants are encouraged to challenge assumptions, recognise possibilities, find solutions to difficult problems, enhance operational performance, boost productivity, and eventually develop a lasting competitive edge during the sessions, which are mostly interactive. Sessions produce information and insights that can be used right away to solve urgent management problems. This enables both the organisation funding the programme and its participants to generate a profitable and long-term return on their investment.
Our programmes may focus on a specific discipline, such as sales and marketing, operations, finance, strategy, or leadership, or they are multidisciplinary, effectively covering all functional areas.
The three wings of the MDC at PSG IM—faculty development programmes, student training programmes, and management development programs—are each focused on meeting the training and development needs of a particular audience. With its FDP programmes, PSG IM offers training and skill-enhancement opportunities for professors from different Colleges and Universities in the areas of research, technological literacy, and cutting-edge teaching pedagogy in addition to delivering development programmes and professional knowledge to businesses.
Programs specifically designed to fulfil the unique corporate training and executive learning mandates relevant to distinct firms are available. In accordance with this framework, PSGIM and the client company work together to design courses that are scheduled at times and locations that are convenient for both parties. The program’s resource people have extensive experience and have been experts in their respective fields for more than 20 years.
PSG IM is now collaborating with a wide range of businesses, including premier multinationals, corporate houses, and public sector enterprises, to produce cutting-edge training modules that will offer them an advantage over rivals in a continuously shifting global marketplace. State Bank of India, Indian Oil Corporation, Toyoda Gosei pvt limited, Carborundum Universal Limited-Murugappa Groups, Elgi Rubber, L & T, and many more are just a few of the notable corporations we have worked with.
